History is made this month with the release of Big Fish Games' Mystery Case Files: Huntsville. After a hasty name change due to some legal issues, Mystery Case Files is off to sell record-breaking numbers of download games. This hidden object game was the first one of its kind, but it's still a classic.
Other genres are alive and well, though. Match-3 games in particular are doing very well this month, with some great releases. Magic Match captured the hearts of players everywhere with its cute mascot, Giggles. The songs helped a lot, too. You can't go wrong with songs!
Another great matching game this month is Rainbow Web. Players everywhere were delighted by their spiderweb-style board design. The classic matching gameplay remains, but a new way of thinking about the board really adds to this great game.
